A goldfish was under an operation in the picture. The name of the fish is Monty, he has tumors behind his eye. It took the doctors 45 minutes to finish the operation. 

Monty is five years old now, the family love him very much, they spent £200 on his operation.

Monty was able to live so long above water because doctors kept watering him while in operation.

Doctor Miles said, “He was a special patient and the operation went very well from start to finish. His owners loved him so much that they paid to make sure he had a better life. We don't take an operation on goldfish very often but we made it.”
