Blatter(布拉特)has been re-elected as the president of FIFA(国际足联). The 79-year-old won it in a vote on Friday. Mr Blatter now has another four years as the boss of football's governing body. In his speech, Blatter said: "I am the president now. The president of everybody." He was re-elected even though a scandal took place on Wednesday. Seven top FIFA officials were arrested. Mr Blatter was not one of them but many people in football want him to resign. They say there have been too many scandals at FIFA since he became president in 1998. The UK Prime Minister David Cameron said Blatter should quit and "the sooner the better".
Mr Blatter said he took responsibility for all that is wrong with FIFA and that he would bring change. He said he would work to put FIFA in a "strong position". However, the boss of England's Football Association(英国足球协会)Greg Dyke said: "I cannot see FIFA changing itself under Blatter. He's had 16 years to change it and he hasn't done it." In those 16 years, Blatter took the World Cup to South Africa and put a lot of money into building the game in Asia and Africa. However, the name FIFA is now usually connected to scandal. There are also many concerns over why FIFA is doing so little about the 1,200 workers who have so far died to build the Qatar(卡塔尔)2022 World Cup.
