China is going to finish its one-child family policy(计划生育政策) and let families have two children. China has the biggest population（人口） in the world, and it began the one-child policy in 1980. People in the cities can have only one child. Only a small number of people could have two children. In the villages,if the first is a girl, then they can have another one. In 2013, families could have two if one parent was an only child.

A teacher said, “Too many young people in the cities may not be interested in having a second child,” he said. “People in villages already have two children.” At the end of 2014, China had a population of 1.37 billion(十亿) people.
