Japan uses cheese the most in Asia, but South Korea(韩国) is becoming very interested in cheese now. South Korea is now a big market for cheese. This is because South Koreans are starting to like western food like pizza(披萨), but they also like to put cheese into their country’s food. They say that cheese takes away the heat from hot food.

Every South Korean eats 2.4 kg of cheese every year. It may seem like a lot, but French people eat cheese ten times more than South Koreans.
