A young mother is trying to find a kind stranger who gave her £5 after she gave up her son's seat on a train so someone else could sit down.
Sammie Welch was 1 with her three-year-old son Rylan asleep on the 2 next to her when a man boarded the 3 train. She pulled her son onto her lap so the stranger could 4 the seat - and shortly afterwards another 5 slipped her a note calling her "a credit to your younger 6 ". The mystery passenger, who signed the 7 "Man on train at table with glasses and hat",also left the mother a £5 8 to buy herself a drink.
Ms Welch, who now lives in Plymouth, says she did not 9 the stranger's name and now use a Facebook to find him. "I never had the 10 to thank him as he got off and I couldn't move due to my son being 11 on me and a man sat next to me," she wrote 12 the social networking site. "I would love to have the opportunity to 13 this man personally!"
She was travelling from Birmingham to Plymouth last Thursday with Rylan, trying to keep him 14 on the three-and-a-half-hour journey. "He was 15 his dinner! I had made him a packed lunch, and we were laughing at the fact that he kept calling his grapes strawberries," Ms Welch said. "We were 16 together and I was trying to keep him occupied. He normally gets quite 17 on long trains so I was doing my best to entertain him as 18 as I could."
People look at you and judge you every day but getting that note made me feel special and 19 .That might sound silly, but all I'm trying to do is make a better 20 for my son.
