The 2014 Youth Olympic Games（青奥会）took place in Nanjing, Jiangsu province on August 16, 2014. It is a sporting event for the youth of the world. And it came to an end today, August 28.

During the game, more than 20,000 volunteers（志愿者）were serving for the games. They helped the athletes（运动员）, foreign guests and many other people during the 2014 Youth Olympic Games. Through their hard working, they received high praises.

Li Keqiang, the Chinese Premier was very proud of the volunteers. He said to them, "Hopefully you can pass your volunteering spirit（精神）to more people in our country and make more people do the meaningful things to the country in the future.” "The volunteers could not win a medal, but the praises are a truly worthy medal for all of you", he said. And he called all young people of the country to make more contributions. 

The 3rd Youth Olympics will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2018.
