中国人去美国留学值得吗

The number of Chinese students studying in the US is at a record high, but tuition fees are rising. Is it worth attending university in the US? Are American schools far better than Chinese ones?

My daughter was born in China but is an American citizen(公民). I have a house in Boston. My wife has one in Beijing. We decide that our daughter will go to American schools but will spend summers in Beijing. We think the Chinese schools are very good but lack creativity and application(应用) to real life situations.

I don’t care so much why they come here, but it is great to have these Chinese students in the USA. They bring brains, an application for education and true family values. They make America better. I find American education has many problems. I think Americans lack basic knowledge. Chinese education is limited to remembering learning of facts to pass Gaokao.

I am a Chinese student studying in University of California, US. I am improving my English skills very quickly. I believe that the best thing about the US college is that it makes students from different backgrounds exchange(交流) thoughts and share creative ideas. I make many American friends and make myself truly integrate into the society here.
