我与《中国日报》的那些事
I am from Sri Lanka, a country that was under the control of British Empire(帝国) for 150 years. We speak English everywhere in our country. When I came to China five years ago, everything around me was in Chinese. My eyes were tired of seeing the complex(复杂的) words around me. However, I saw an English newspaper in our office. It was China Daily. I turned several pages. And suddenly I found an English window into this unknown and to-be-explored(待探索的) country. It was the beginning of my friendship with China Daily.
Later I got to know that China Daily has a blog section(博客区) on it official website. It allows us to show our ideas by words. I started writing blogs on it. Slowly I built a group of readers. They keep in touch with me on WeChat. Every minute I spend on this newspaper and also the website(网站) is interesting. I visit the website every day. Sometimes I read the newspaper from the office.
China Daily is like a friend. It stays with me in every mood in my life. If I am happy, I can write a blog. If I am sad, I can enjoy what others have said and let my bad feelings go away. We all love China Daily and we stay in touch every day.
