凡事不要太早下结论

A father and his daughter were flying a kite in the park. When they took a break on the bench, the young daughter saw an old man selling apples. She asked her father to buy her an apple. Her father didn’t bring much money with him, but it was enough to buy two apples. So he bought two and gave them to his daughter.

His daughter held one apple in her left hand and the other in the right hand. Then the father asked her if she could share one apple with him. When the girl heard this, she quickly took a bite(咬) of one apple. And before her father could speak, she also took a bite of the second apple.

The father was surprised. He wondered why she acted in such a greedy(贪婪的) way. His mind was lost in thoughts. Perhaps he was just thinking too much. His daughter was too young to understand about sharing and giving. The smile had disappeared from his face.

But suddenly his daughter reached her left hand with the apple and said, “Dad, you have this one. This one is much juicier and sweeter.” Her father was speechless. He felt bad about reaching to the judgement so quickly about a small child. And his smile came back now after knowing why his daughter quickly took a bite of each apple.

Don’t judge anything or reach a conclusion too quickly. Always spare some more time to understand things better.
