如何照顾感冒生病的狗？
Like human beings, dogs may also get cold because of cold weather and wet conditions. They can also get it from other sick dogs. If a dog has a running nose and watery eyes, coughs, or wheezes(喘息), then it is quite probable that the dog has caught a cold.
A dog’s cold can get over after a few days but it totally depends upon the owner to treat it well to get rid of the cold naturally. The following are some of the things you can do if your dog gets a cold.
● Feed your dog with food that has proper nutrient(营养). Don’t experiment with any food at this time as it can be harmful to his health. Try to give him food which is either recommended by the vet or is healthy for your pet.
● Keep your dog warm. The best place for your dog in winter is inside your house. Don’t keep him outside when it’s cold and wet. You can keep him warm with the help of rugs(地毯). This will make him comfortable and help him to get well fast.
● Make your dog drink more water as it helps a lot. Water can be the best choice but you can also add broth(肉汤) in water. Check out the water you’re feeding him if it’s very cold and then just warm it a bit.
● Fill your bathroom with steam(蒸汽) and leave your dog inside the bathroom for 15 minutes. Do it nearly twice to three times a day, and you’ll see your dog get better.
