The world's first Robocop went into the streets in Dubai as part of the country's planned robot police force.
Robocop started work on Sunday (May 14th) . And it is already making a name for itself. It is 1.65 meters tall and weighs 100 kg. It can speak six languages and is designed to read facial expressions(面部表情).
The machine has a built-in computer,so people can use it to pay fines or report crimes, and can also send messages to and receive messages from police stations. The robot police officer can see faces from 20 meters away and has a touchscreen on its chest which members of the public can use to report crimes.
He can talk and answer your questions, shake hands and offer a military salute(行军礼). The Robocops will make up 25% of the city's police force by 2030.
