飓风后的动物救援

As families continue to struggle from the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, the terrible reality is that many animals were left behind. But that isn't stopping animal lovers from doing what they can do to rescue our helpless friends from the huge floods.

Betty Walter shared a photo and wrote on Facebook: To these amazing guys that helped me and some of my neighbors’ dogs, I was worried there were too many dogs on the boat and it would tip over. I told them I would stay behind and wait for them to make two trips. They said NO and they were taking all. We had 21 dogs on this boat. No place for any humans on this boat. We had to walk in water over my head to get out.

Julia Lucas shared a photo of her husband and wrote on Facebook: My husband just went down to Houston and was helping to evacuate(疏散) all of the abandoned animals as well, though they were quickly running out of room for them.
