The National Day holiday is coming to the end. Are you still wondering where to go? I would like to give you some advice on scenic spots in China. Hope it may be helpful.
The Palace Museum
The museum received 175,000 tourists on Oct 2 last year. I advise you to avoid the peak visiting hours from 10 am to 1 pm and to buy tickets in advance on its official website.
Gulangyu Island, Fujian province
It is the home to about 20,000 residents. A large number of tourists visit it because of its beautiful beaches, special shops and different kinds architecture(建筑物). On Oct 3, 2013, 93,000 people visited the island. The ferries take about 10,000 visitors to the island per hour.
Shanghai City
Shanghai is located opposite the Bund on the Huangpu River. And the 468-meter-high tower has an observatory and a revolving(旋转的)restaurant to enjoy a bird’s eye view of Shanghai. The Bund is one of the most popular sceneries in the city. Tourists can see buildings of different architectural styles and enjoy its amazing signs on a travelling ship there.
Jiuzhaigou Valley, Sichuan province
This nature reserve and national park is known for its unique and colorful pools of water and snow-capped mountains. Autumn is the best time to visit.
Huangshan Mountains, Anhui province
Ancient Chinese poets and painters frequently visited the mountain to make their works. I advise you to avoid peak visiting hours because an overflow of tourists may cause longer-than-expected stays at mountains.
