Many Chinese readers like Jane Austen’s books. Jane Austen has many famous books, such as "Sense and Sensibility"， "Pride and Prejudice" and “Emma”. She was born in 1775 and died in 1817. The world celebrated the 200th anniversary of her death this year.  
Why are Jane’s books so popular in China? The reason is the modern Chinese society could not do without "literary youth". Someone called "literary youth" likes literature very much. Their love for literature and art is like their love for coffee. It is necessary but simple.
From libraries to bookstores, Jane Austen’s books are neatly placed on shelves. Students are advised to read these books after class. Though Jane Austen is not so famous like Shakespeare, it’s a fact that she is popular among readers.
