Tom had a lamb. He likes this lamb. One day, the lamb was ill. He was very worried about his lamb. He called the vet(兽医).
“What’s the problem?” the vet asked Tom when he arrived. “My lamb's ill,” Tom said. “I don’t know what's the matter with her. She’s lying down and won’t eat. She’s making a strange noise.”
The vet looked over the lamb and said, "The lamb is certainly ill. She needs to take some medicine." He took a bottle out of his box, put some pills into his hand and said, “Give her these. The pills should make her better.”
“How should I feed the lamb pills?” Tom asked. The vet gave him a tube and said, “Put this tube in her mouth, then put the pills in the tube and blow(吹气).” Then the vet left away.
Two hours later, Tom called the vet again. “How’s your lamb?” the vet asked. “No change,” Tom said, “I did what you said. I put the tube in the lamb’s mouth and then put two pills down it. However, the lamb blew first.”
