It is reported that French spend about 1,646 hours a year at work, but Japanese work for about 2,159 hours a year. Many people say that they are working for too many hours. They don’t have enough time to relax or to stay with their family.

Many people think that their vacations are too short. In China, people get about three weeks of paid vacation a year. One research shows fewer than half of workers use all their vacation days. There is a saying in England, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” If that is true, there must be a lot of dull people in the world.
