在不同的社交场合，美国人都怎样做呢？

When people in the USA meet in the street, they usually smile and shake hands. And they will say “Hello” or “Hi”. Good friends and family members may hug each other when they greet.
When two people are talking, they usually do not stand very close to each other. They will keep about one arm’s length apart. However, they may touch other person’s shoulder during conversation.
Visiting friends, family, and relatives plays a big part in social life. Guests are expected to make themselves comfortable, to sit where they like and to enjoy themselves. Sometimes guests will bring presents when they are invited.
