Jane is a poor girl who is eighteen years old. Her father has died, and she now lives with her mother. Jane’s mother works in a restaurant as a waitress. She works hard to make money.
One day, her mother got hurt in a traffic accident. She had to be in bed for a long time. Jane had to look after her mother and herself. After school, she did all the housework herself. And she also did some part-time jobs to make some money on weekends. After doing this herself, she knew how nice her mother was. It also made her really appreciate what her mother had been doing for her.
Fortunately, her mother got better a few months later. Jane made up her mind to be a doctor. She wants to help people who are in need. She works hard because she knows it will not be easy to make her dream come true.
