An eight-year-old boy has promised to get his dad a car, and he made good on his word.

This boy is nicknameds as “Belairboy”. When he was eight years old he told his father that he would buy him a 1957 Chevy Bel Air on his 57th birthday. He said: “My dad grew up in a poor family with seven children, he never thought he would be able to have his own car but he would talk about it all the time.”

Then his father’s 57th birthday came. He asked his father to go to the garage without telling him what was in the garage. When the old man opened the door of the garage, he was completely shocked. “Happy birthday, dear father.” Belairboy said to the old man. All the father could say was in a trembling tone: “oh my dear, oh my dear, this is real, this is real.” and he hugged Belairboy tearfully（满含眼泪的）.

Belairboy said he had prepared to buy the car two years ago. In those days he often talked about older cars with his father and showed pictures of cars to the old man so that he could know how much the old man would love it.

Finally, he chose the car and made his word.
