Have you ever tried to “touch” things when you see a 3D film? They look so real! Our world has three dimensions: depth, width and height. But a 2D film only has height and width. All the action is on the big screen. 3D films add depth. That makes you feel as if you are part of the experience.
Try this: hold up a pen in front of you. Close one eye and look at it. Now close the other eye. What do you see? The pen moves a little bit! Our eyes and brain work together to make us see in 3D. 3D films do the same thing. With 3D glasses, each of our two eyes sees a different image. Then our brain puts the two images together, so we see the film in 3D.
