Yin Li, 25, is a head teacher of nursery classes for 4 to 7 year olds at Zhaojiagou Joint School on the 1,632-meter-high Cuifeng Mountain in Hequ county, Shanxi province. She also teaches music classes for first- to sixth-graders. She may not be a famous singer and, but the young teacher is bringing the sound of music to children in the mountain area.

Yin Li has taught at the school since graduating from the Music Institute of Xinzhou Normal College in 2010. Before she came here, children could only learn some old songs from old people. She teaches children's songs to her pupils and they enjoy singing them. She also often dances with her students in the playground after class. Yin says that it feels as if she has many children of her own as she eats and enjoys music with them.

Yin married during last month's national day holiday but can only get together with her husband three or four times a month because they do not work in the same place. "When it snowed heavily in winter, I could not see my family for more than one month and my husband may not be happy with that," said Yin, "I feel I’m wrong when thinking about it, but I have a deep feeling for my students after nearly five years' work here".
