美国12岁天才少年向太空进发 就读航空航天工程本科专业

12-year-old Caleb Anderson is getting ready to go from Chattahoochee Technical College to Georgia Tech. He will study aerospace engineering(航空航天工程) with other students, but they are nearly twice his age.
Claire and Kobi Anderson said it didn't take long to realize their son Caleb was special. At age two, he could read the United States Constitution. At age three, while he learned English as his first language, he learned Spanish, French and Chinese, too.
He quickly finished elementary, middle and high school. "He said, 'Mom I'm bored. It is so easy. This is not challenging'," Claire said of her son. "'It's really not helping me grow in my learning, and I think I'm ready for college.'"
Now, at just 12 years old, he has just started his second year at Chattahoochee Technical College, majoring in aerospace engineering. Caleb's story recently caught the attention of administrators at his dream school, Georgia Tech.
"When Georgia Tech reached out to us, it was a dream that came true," his father, Kobi, said. Professor Mark Costello, chair of Georgia Tech's School of Aerospace Engineering, said, "He's a perfect student to come into our program and be very successful."
