A man had a bird. It was very clever. The man spoke to the bird everyday. “Hello!” he said. “Hello!” the bird answered. “What are you doing?” said the man. “What are you doing?” said the bird. The man was not at home one day. A thief came in. He was taking many things. “Hello!” the thief heard the bird’s words. “What are you doing?” The thief was very afraid, so he did not take any things and ran out of the house.
