The roommates of Sichod Drolma always enjoy talking with each other before falling asleep. Sichod Drolma said the school is like her second home.
The education in plateau region (高原地区) has improved over the past years. Since 2012, students there have been provided with meals and a dormitory for free. What’s more, they are exempt from study costs from preschool to senior high school, lasting for 15 years. These measures have helped the parents a lot in their children’s education.
