If you live on an island with lots of goats, what will you do? Well, let’s see what Alicudi is doing. 

Alicudi is an Italian island. For years, wild goats have lived on Alicudi, staying up in the mountains for the most of the time. But as their number grew, they started coming down to where people live. They are bringing lots of problems: they eat plants and fruits in gardens; they break down walls; they go into homes.

So, Mayor Riccardo Gullo is giving some of the goats to people on other islands, for free! He hopes to make it easier to control goats on Alicudi by doing so. He says that there are many people wanting goats, like a farmer on Vulcano. He wants them to make cheese.
