接“福”啦！旅韩大熊猫“福宝”正式与公众见面

Fu Bao is the first panda born in the Republic of Korea (ROK). She returned to Southwest China’s Sichuan province, the hometown of pandas, two months ago. On June 12th, she met the public (公众) after two months of adaptation (适应).

Born in July 2020, Fu Bao is the first cub of pandas Ai Bao and Le Bao. They were sent to ROK from China in 2016 on a 15-year lease (租约). Last July, Ai Bao gave birth to another two pandas in ROK. They are Rui Bao and Hui Bao.

Fu Bao walked into the yard of her enclosure (圈地) in the Shenshuping giant panda base of Wolong National Nature Reserve at 9:35 am. Before that, lots of visitors and international media (媒体) waited for the panda star.

Fu Bao walked slowly, sniffed (嗅), and looked around. After exploring her yard, she found the food prepared for her in the playground. Then she lost herself in eating bamboo.

Fu Bao is very cute and smart. She quickly became popular on the Internet after her birth. Why? Because she brought many people happiness during the COVID-19 pandemic.
