Scientists in Uganda conduct (实施) a study. They are studying 51 wild chimps (黑猩猩). The chimps eat special plants to help them feel better. These special plants can stop pain and kill bacteria (细菌).
Scientists have been studying the chimps for four years. They follow the chimps and see what they eat when sick or hurt. The scientists take those plants and test them. They think this can help in finding new medicines (药) for people.
The study shows that many plants stop bacteria and help with pain. This means that the chimps know which plants can help them. They are smart.
