One morning, Amy, Lucy and mum are at home. They are in the living room. Mum cleans the floor. The children watch TV, “I’m tired. Can you help me, children?” mum says.
“Sorry, mum. We are busy (忙碌的),” the children say. Later, mum goes to the kitchen and cooks. The children play in the bedroom. “Can you help me, children?” asks mum. “Sorry, mum. We are busy,” the children say. In the afternoon, mum is very tired and has a nap in the bedroom. “Let’s help mum,” says Amy. “OK,” says Lucy. They clean the kitchen and the bedroom. They make some food, too. Then mum gets up. “Mum, are you hungry? Would you like some milk and bread?” asks Amy and Lucy. “Wow! This is great! Thank you for your help!” mum smiles.
