In Greece, Lake Mornos gives water to almost half of the people. But it is shrinking (减少) because of bad weather.
After a winter with no snow and a very hot summer, there is a little water in the lake. As the water goes down, an old village called Kallio is showing up again. Water covered the village in 1980 when workers made the lake. The land around the lake is dry and cracked (破裂的). That reminds people the village once existed.
Scientists say that climate change is making the weather worse and causing problems. If there is no rain in the next winter, the problem will get even worse. So local leaders and experts are worried. They say it is necessary to deal with the effects of global warming.
