Even if you do not have much money, you can still treat yourself once a month or even weekly. Here are some ideas. 

Buy Some Flowers From The Store
This is our favorite practice, so it is the first one. You can buy a bunch of flowers from the flower store once a month (or once every other week). It only costs $5–$10 and won’t break the bank. When you pick flowers, it’s better to pick flowers that will last for about 2 weeks, so you can enjoy their beauty for a longer time. Lovely flowers in your room can always bring smiles. 
Try A New Restaurant 
Maybe you’ve been wanting to try a certain restaurant, but you don’t want to spend much. You can try when meals are on sale, or when you want to enjoy your life. Try something new is a simple way to make you happy.
Check Out A Farmer’s Market
Local farmer’s markets are wonderful places to buy special food and gifts. For more information about farmer’s markets that are near your neighborhood, visit the website nextdoor.com. Farmers’ markets are where I get some of my favorite gifts, bread, and artwork (艺术品).
Have A Picnic In The Park
When the weather is nice, get some food and visit a park. There are picnic areas in many parks. I often buy sandwiches at a nearby shop, then travel to a park near the mountain.
Go To The Library And Borrow Whatever You Want
Libraries aren’t just about books. You can also watch movies, listen to music, and read newspapers. I even had the chance to take part in a free workshop (研讨会) given by R.L. Stine, one of my all-time favorite writers, last year!
