Many years ago, an emperor (皇帝) loved beautiful clothes. One day, two people said they could make the most beautiful cloth. They said only clever people could see it. The Emperor wanted that cloth. He paid them a lot of money.
The two pretended (假装) to work. One day, the Emperor sent an honest person to have a look. The person saw nothing. But he didn’t want to be a fool. So he said the cloth was beautiful.
The Emperor sent another person. But he also saw nothing and said the cloth was beautiful. Finally, the Emperor was going to see it himself...
