Li is from the countryside in Sichuan Province. She was born in 1990. When she was a little girl, her parents divorced (离婚). She then lived with her grandparents. In 2004, Li moved to the city to work. Eight years later, her grandmother was ill. So she returned to the village.
Li wanted to do something new. So she began to make videos. She started posting short videos online in 2016. Many people liked her videos. However, after July 14, 2021, Li stopped posting any new video. On November 12, 2024, Li Ziqi posted two new videos. The videos quickly became popular.
