Where do red pandas live?
Red pandas live in the Eastern Himalayas in places like China, Nepal, and Bhutan. They spend most of their time in trees. They move easily from branch to branch. What’s more, these cute creatures tend to (倾向于) live alone, only rarely traveling in pairs or in families.
How do red pandas use their tails?
Red pandas have long, bushy (浓密的) tails. They rely on their tails for balance as they cross tree branches. They also wrap it around themselves to keep warm during the winter months.
What threats do red pandas face?
The home of the red panda is getting smaller. The loss of trees and bamboo in the Eastern Himalayas, where almost half of the red pandas live, is making their numbers go down in many places.
