Amelie is 18 years old. She comes from Hampshire, UK. She travels to Zambia with her family and friends.

Amelie is in a boat on the Zambezi river. A crocodile(鳄鱼) attacks(袭击) her. The crocodile wants to pull the girl into the water. Crocodiles usually do this to find food. They kill other animals in this way. Amelie is lucky. Her father and friends scare(惊吓) the crocodile. It swims away. Amelie must go to hospital. The animal injures(使受伤) her leg.

Now, Amelie is in a hospital in the UK. She often thinks of the attack. She has bad dreams about it. Luckily, doctors say that she will be fine. Amelie says that she is still going back to Zambia in the future. She thinks that one bad experience cannot stop her.
