“AI医生”来了：能帮医生患者不少忙
In Beijing Children’s Hospital, an AI pediatric (小儿科的) doctor begins to work. On the one hand, it helps real doctors find medical information faster. On the other hand, it assists doctors in treating rare illnesses and solving difficult medical problems.
Last Thursday, human doctors and the AI doctor worked together to treat 10 sick children. Engineers put the children’s medical records into the AI system. The AI suggested treatments like surgery or chemotherapy (化疗). Most of its ideas matched the doctors’ plans. Sometimes, the AI even added special tips based on the patient’s medical report.
AI also helps in other medical areas. In Hangzhou, a robot helps disabled people with their rehabilitation (康复) training. Another robot called “Bei Xiaoliu” from Peking University Sixth Hospital now works in many cities. It talks to people about their feelings and gives advice when they find problems.
