Lyu Yanting is the voice behind the character (角色) Nezha in the popular films Ne Zha 1 and Ne Zha 2. Let’s read about her story.
Lyu was born in Hunan in 1987. In 2005, Lyu studied at Sichuan Film and Television University. At first, she knew nothing about voice acting. But one of her teachers added acting exercises to lessons. These activities made Lyu love voice acting. Two years later, her school had voice-acting classes. Lyu worked hard and became a teacher later.
Later, director Jiaozi needed a “rough voice” for Nezha. Lyu suggested some students try, but they felt nervous. Finally, Jiaozi asked her to try the role herself.
Lyu gave Nezha a special “smoky voice.” Her work created (创造) unforgettable memories for billions of people.
