Nowadays, Chinese robots are becoming stars worldwide! On March 23rd, US Fox News shared an exciting report about them. The report said Chinese robots can do kung fu moves so perfectly that people can’t believe their eyes!
They introduced a special human-like robot called Unitree G1 (first released in 2024). This robot can perform kung fu moves with perfect balance and speed. In the video, G1 showed cool actions like punching, spinning, and high kicks. Fox News joked that “this robot changed from a dancing star to a kung fu master!”
This isn’t simple robot dancing. G1 has 23 flexible joints (like human body parts) and moves better than some humans! Even kung fu legend Bruce Lee would be impressed. The robot’s company says G1 isn’t just for shows — it can help with difficult jobs at home, in factories, or in hospitals.
We’ve seen Chinese robots shine before! During the 2025 CCTV Spring Festival Gala, Unitree’s H1 (first released in 2023) robots wore traditional yangge dance costumes and danced with red handkerchiefs. Their smooth moves made them famous online overnight.
G1 keeps getting smarter! On March 19th, it learned to do a sideways flip. Two days later, it mastered a classic martial arts move called “Carp’s Leap”. It can even stay balanced when pushed — just like real kung fu masters!
Experts say Chinese companies like Unitree are leading in robot technology. They’re making better robot parts and smarter AI programs.
