幸福食堂里的幸福味道
In a village in Hukou, Jiangxi, there was a canteen before. But it closed because of money problem. Now a village canteen has opened to help old people.
The new canteen, called Happiness Canteen, is near the village activity center. It can hold over 50 people. Chen Yingpeng and other kind villagers started it. The canteen gets money from the government (政府) and kind people’s donations (捐款).
The canteen provides breakfast and lunch from Monday to Saturday. People over 65 can have free meals. They also help out in turns.____▲____ They say the food is good and the place is clean. The canteen makes old people happy.
