让你的猫咪成为“健康警报器”

Anyka Breton suffers from very bad migraines (偏头痛). These can make her feel very weak. Many people get migraines sometimes, but only a few have them very often, like Anyka. Women get them more than men. While headaches happen less as people get older, they rarely stop completely.
Anyka has a special cat named Lewis. Lewis is being trained to warn her about her headaches and heart problems. Anyka also has a service dog named Ducky. Ducky helps with things Lewis cannot do, like picking up dropped items or helping her move through crowds. Both animals work together to keep Anyka safe and healthy.
Lewis can tell when Anyka is about to get a migraine, sometimes hours before it starts. This early warning gives Anyka time to take her medicine, rest, and stay safe. Often, this stops the headache completely. Many people don’t know that cats can be trained like dogs. Their senses are just as sharp! Even though training a cat might seem harder, it can be done.
Lewis also helps Anyka with her PTSD and bipolar disorder (躁郁症). He stops her from doing harmful things like pacing too much, rocking, or scratching her skin. When Anyka is about to feel very angry, Lewis senses changes in her body and helps calm her down.
Cats aren’t officially called service animals like dogs. But Anyka believes her cat can be a big help. She says if you have a health problem where an early warning would help, you should try training your cat.
