意大利的亚特兰蒂斯,沉没的古罗马遗迹

Baia is a Roman town. It is more than 2,000 years old. It was a popular place for rich people and emperors in old Rome. Fish swim through the town today. Only swimmers and divers(潜水员) can visit there. How is it possible?

Hundreds of years ago, the town moved towards the sea. A volcano(火山) in the Mediterranean Sea moved it. Then, the whole town was under water. Divers found it again in 1969.

Today, tourists can swim through the town. They can see beautiful statues(雕像). But some of them are not real. Animals and plants in the sea can break the statues easily, so people take some statues out. They put copies(复制品) of the statues back in the sea, so swimmers and divers can still see them.
