It’s the year 2025 now. Veldesen Yaputra is a 24-year-old student from Indonesia. He loves architecture (建筑学) very much.
Yaputra’s great-grandfather was from China. He left China for Indonesia long ago. Yaputra came to China in 2017. He studied in Shenzhen and is now an architecture student at Tsinghua University in Beijing. He speaks good Mandarin (汉语普通话).
These days, Yaputra visited Shanxi to see ancient Chinese buildings. He made videos about them. He also worked on a guesthouse (客房) project in Guizhou. On the Internet, he shares Chinese and Indonesian cultures. He hopes to be a bridge between the two countries.
