15岁体操小将柯沁沁闪耀“十五运”赛场
Ke Qinqin, a 15-year-old girl from Nancheng, Dongguan, won three gold medals in gymnastics at the 15th National Games. Winning three golds made her the first athlete from her team to achieve this. She is also the first gold medalist for Dongguan at the Games.
Ke Qinqin was born in Hubei in 2010. Later, she moved to Guangdong with her parents. When she was in kindergarten, she saw a gymnastics poster by chance. She told her mom she wanted to learn gymnastics. She thought training was fun, so she kept practicing.
In 2016, Ke was chosen by Dongguan’s gymnastics team. She started professional training. She was very self-disciplined and hardworking. In 2019, she went to train in Shenzhen. Her training was very strict. She got up at 6 a.m. to practice flexibility. She added physical training at noon. She checked her moves in the mirror at night. Later, Ke joined Guangdong’s provincial (省的) team. She practiced hard and didn’t rest until she got her moves right. In 2022, she won three gold medals at the Guangdong Provincial Games. A year later, she got two gold medals in a national youth game, even with an injury.
