There are two Bentley’s restaurants — one in Nova Scotia, Canada, and another in Alabama, US. A man in Alabama made a mistake. He called the Canadian Bentley’s to order food, two burgers and fries.
The restaurant’s owners, Darcy and Laura, prepared the food. But the food sat unclaimed (无人认领的) for over an hour. So they gave it to another person and went on with their day.
The man felt sorry about that. He sent a letter and $40 to say sorry. The money covered the meal and left some extra (额外). Darcy and Laura plan to use it for free ice cream for kids next summer.
