Mebal Kaanyi is a school bus driver. One cold Thursday afternoon, she saw a little boy. He was running down the street. He was crying. He had no shoes or a jacket. The boy ran straight to a lake. Kaanyi was very scared of water and couldn’t swim. But she got off her bus and ran after him. When she reached (到达) the lake, the boy was in deep water. Kaanyi forgot her fear. She saved the boy. She gave him clothes to keep warm. She is a real hero.
