国乒击败日本队,夺冠!

The Chinese table tennis team clinched the 2025 ITTF Mixed Team World Cup title on Sunday, defeating Japan 8-1 in the final. The victory marks China’s successful defense of the championship, achieved with an unbeaten run of eleven consecutive match wins throughout the tournament.


In the opening mixed doubles match, the Chinese pair of Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha defeated Japan’s Matsushima Terukazu and Oto Satsuki 3-0, with game scores of 11-4, 11-4, and 11-6. This result gave China an initial 3-0 lead in the overall tally.


Wang Manyu then extended China’s advantage in the women’s singles, defeating Harimoto Miu 3-0 (11-6, 11-7, 11-6), which pushed the team’s overall lead to 6-0.


The championship was sealed in the men’s singles by Lin Shidong, who defeated Harimoto Tomokazu 2-1. After dropping the first game 6-11, Lin rallied to win the next two 11-5 and 11-6, securing an 8-1 overall victory for China and confirming their triumph in the 2025 ITTF Mixed Team World Cup.
