Have you ever seen porcelain that has carved hollows (镂空雕刻) and clay flowers? This special kind of porcelain is called Tonghua porcelain (通花瓷). It is from Chaohou city, Guangdong province. In 2008, it was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage (“非物质文化遗产”).
