12-year-old Wang Wanyi from Chengdu became famous online for her 2.65-meter standing long jump.
She loves sports and joined sports activities when she was little. In 2025, a coach noticed her at a sports meeting. At first, she trained for hurdles(跨栏), but she was a bit too short for this sport. Then Coach Luo found her great explosive power(爆发力). So she started training for long jump.
She only trained 3 days a week. But she worked very hard. In just 3 months, her jump went from 2.4 meters to 2.65 meters!
