三兄弟反哺乡亲，温暖他人11个寒冬
On January 6, in Yuanqiao Village of Dengfeng, Henan Province, all villagers over 65 years old received cash gifts. This kind act has lasted for 11 years. It warmed the elders’ hearts on a cold winter day.
This kindness came from three brothers: Yuan Zhanguo, Yuan Zhanxin and Yuan Zhanjun. They grew up poor in the village. Later, they built a successful business. They never forgot how the villagers helped them when they were young. Since 2013, they have given money to the old people every month to return their help. They just want to let the elderly live a happier and more comfortable life in their hometown.
The rules are easy. On the 6th of every month, the elders get together to receive money. Those aged 65–79 get 300 yuan. Those aged 80–89 get 500 yuan. People over 90 get 1000 yuan. So far, the brothers have given over 6 million yuan. Some elders have received up to 80,000 yuan over the years.
