A Volunteer Teacher’s Story

Wang Xueru, a 22-year-old university student from Beijing, joined the “Go West” programme to teach in Yunnan. ___1__ For Wang, it was a year of warmth and growth.

At first, many problems in teaching worried Wang. ___2___ She learnt different teaching methods from online courses. Months later, she felt confident about her teaching work.
