A heatwave(热浪) comes to India. Heatwaves come to India every year. But this year, it comes too early. This surprises people.

People say that the temperature(温度) will be 43℃. They try to stay out of the sun. Most people are in danger, especially poor people and people without homes, because they have nowhere to go. People worry that heatwaves may be stronger in a few days.  

Heatwaves kill many people every year. The worst heatwave in India came seven years ago. It killed more than 2,000 people at that time.  

Monsoon(季风) rains often bring colder weather in the summer. They stop the heatwaves. But the global warming(全球变暖) brings people stronger heatwaves. That makes it harder for monsoon rains to make the weather colder. It is a big problem for India and the world.
